Ms. Tay Shir Men is my management science module's (MGT 60203) lecturer. This module has 4 credit hours. This module provides the background, theories, concepts and principles of management. It also explores the various organisational characteristics, structure, behaviour and effectiveness of an organisation.
Through this module, I've learned how to define the operation of different types of organisations in the construction industry, execute SWOT analysis for decision making, adopt competent communication skills and formulate their own management potential.

After 10 years of working in the construction industry, my friends who are Cecilia Tie, Khor Seem Leng, Stephanie Yeoh, Vivian Tan and Cassandra Wong want to start up a construction company with RM 1 million as capital. Our company name is G-Steel Formwork Installation Sdn. Bhd.
The mission of G-Steel Formwork Installation is to provide first class service at an affordable price. Our vision is be approved as an industry leader in the conception, fabrication and equipment installation of steel formwork systems. Our services normally involve propping and centring, shuttering, provision of camber and cleaning and surface treatment. Our company steel formwork installers have many years experiences in the installation of the steel formwork and steel formwork products. All of our installers are experienced and hold many industry qualifications.
