Construction technology I
My construction technology I module (BLD60104) is lectured by Mr. Leong Boon Tik. This module intends to provide understanding of a wide range of building components with different functions. It also describes the design process, how to build the elements and some simple sketches. Student will undergo by continuous assessments such as assignments and tests to ascertain the objective and outcome of the module is achieved.
This module is to generate an understanding of the role of construction and its application in the design development process and to have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge on building parts and materials used.

Assignment 1
In this assignment, there were 5 persons in a group. The aim of this assignment is to find a building and Illustrate the type of the building with plan / sketches / photo / diagrams. Also, identify and explain the (i) type of foundation, (ii) type of slab and (iii) type of roof of the building with sketches / photo / diagrams. And also, compare and contrast with TWO (2) other types and recommend an alternative to replace the existing type of (i) foundation, (ii) slab, (iii) roof.
Our group used Sharon's house as our research building. I did the research of explain the types of roof and slab (including diagram).
